Swap
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Swap allows users to change asset exposure within the VoidAI ecosystem.
Example:
- WTAO ↔ WALPHA
- WALPHA (Subnet A) ↔ WALPHA (Subnet B)
Swaps modify asset exposure, not chain location.
Swap vs Bridge vs CCIP
Section titled “Swap vs Bridge vs CCIP”| Operation | Purpose | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Swap | Change asset type | WTAO → WALPHA |
| Bridge | Native ↔ Wrapped | TAO → WTAO |
| CCIP | Chain-to-chain | Ethereum → Base |
Common Scenarios
Section titled “Common Scenarios”WTAO → WALPHA
Section titled “WTAO → WALPHA”- Input WTAO
- Backend unwraps → native TAO
- Stakes into subnet
- Wraps ALPHA → WALPHA
- Receive WALPHA
WALPHA → WTAO
Section titled “WALPHA → WTAO”- Unwrap WALPHA
- Unstake subnet
- Wrap TAO → WTAO
- Receive WTAO
WALPHA A → WALPHA B
Section titled “WALPHA A → WALPHA B”- Unwrap subnet A
- Move stake
- Wrap subnet B
- Receive WALPHA (new subnet)
Lifecycle
Section titled “Lifecycle”| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| INITIATED | Request validated |

- Confirm gas balance
- Monitor transaction status
Can I cancel a swap?
