How to Bridge Assets via Chainlink CCIP
Section titled “How to Bridge Assets via Chainlink CCIP”This guide explains how to move wrapped TAO and wrapped Alpha tokens across supported chains using the VoidAI CCIP Bridge.
1. What the CCIP Bridge Does
Section titled “1. What the CCIP Bridge Does”The CCIP Bridge allows you to transfer:
- Wrapped TAO (
wTAO) - Wrapped Alpha tokens (
wALPHA, subnet tokens)
across supported networks.
Currently supported chains:
- Ethereum
- Base
- Solana
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”Depending on the direction of the transfer:

From Ethereum → Base or Solana
Tokens are Locked on Ethereum and Minted on the destination chain. -
From Base or Solana → Ethereum
Tokens are Burned on the source chain and Released on Ethereum. -
From Base or Solana → Solana or Base
Tokens are Burned on the source chain and Minted on the destination chain.
This ensures a secure 1:1 token supply across networks.
2. Before You Start
Section titled “2. Before You Start”Make sure you have:

A connected wallet:
- MetaMask
- WalletConnect-compatible wallet

Sufficient:
- Token balance for bridging
- Native gas tokens on both source and destination chains
⚠ Always ensure your wallet is connected to the correct source network before initiating the bridge.
3. Bridging from Ethereum (Lock → Mint)
Section titled “3. Bridging from Ethereum (Lock → Mint)”Step 1: Open the Bridge
Section titled “Step 1: Open the Bridge”- Visit: https://app.voidai.com
- Navigate to Bridge
- Select CCIP Bridge
- Connect your Ethereum wallet
Step 2: Select Chains
Section titled “Step 2: Select Chains”- Choose:
- Source Chain
- Destination Chain
- Enter the destination wallet address carefully.
Double-check the address before proceeding.
Step 3: Select Token & Amount
Section titled “Step 3: Select Token & Amount”- Choose the token you want to bridge.
- Enter the amount.
The system will automatically calculate:
- Platform fee
- CCIP fee (paid in source chain native token)
- Network gas fee
Review all fees carefully before continuing.
Step 4: Confirm Transaction
Section titled “Step 4: Confirm Transaction”- Click Bridge
- Approve the transaction in your wallet
Processing time:
- ~12–15 seconds for source chain confirmation
- Up to ~25 minutes for CCIP completion
Your bridged tokens will appear in your destination wallet once finalized.
You may need to manually add the token contract to your wallet to see the balance.
Step 5: Track Progress
Section titled “Step 5: Track Progress”You can monitor status via:
- Recent Transactions in the VoidAI app
- The provided block explorer link
4. Reverse Bridging (Burn → Unlock)
Section titled “4. Reverse Bridging (Burn → Unlock)”To move assets back:
Step 1: Open CCIP Bridge
Section titled “Step 1: Open CCIP Bridge”- Visit https://app.voidai.com
- Go to Bridge → CCIP Bridge
- Connect your wallet
Step 2: Select Chains
Section titled “Step 2: Select Chains”- Choose the correct source and destination chains.
- Enter your receiving wallet address.
Step 3: Enter Token & Amount
Section titled “Step 3: Enter Token & Amount”- Select the staking/wrapped token.
- Enter the amount.
- Review:
- Platform fee
- CCIP fee
- Gas fees
Step 4: Confirm & Wait
Section titled “Step 4: Confirm & Wait”- Click Bridge
- Approve transaction in wallet
Expected processing time:
- ~12–15 seconds for confirmation
- Up to ~25 minutes for full completion
Track progress through the Recent Transactions page.
5. Security & Best Practices
Section titled “5. Security & Best Practices”- Always verify destination addresses — transactions cannot be reversed.
- Maintain extra gas balance to prevent failed transactions.
- Confirm you are on the correct source network before bridging.
- Review all fees before signing.
6. Troubleshooting
Section titled “6. Troubleshooting”Wallet Not Connecting
Section titled “Wallet Not Connecting”- Refresh the page.
- Ensure wallet extension is unlocked.
- Try reconnecting.
Transaction Delayed
Section titled “Transaction Delayed”- Wait for at least one confirmation cycle.
- Check the explorer link.
- If unresolved after ~25 minutes, contact support.
