VoidAI Swap – User Manual

1. What is Swap

Section titled “1. What is Swap”

The VoidAI Swap platform allows you to securely and easily swap tokens within the VoidAI ecosystem on Ethereum chain only, with a possible expantion to other chains too.

The platform supports two token categories:

Regular Tokens

Section titled “Regular Tokens”

Staked Tokens

Section titled “Staked Tokens”

Key point to note:

Section titled “Key point to note:”
  • Regular tokens can only be swapped with other regular tokens.
  • Staked tokens can only be swapped with other staked tokens.
  • You cannot swap a regular token for a staked token (or vice versa).

2. Understanding Swap Fee

There are a few fees that will be dedcuted from the amount you want to swap. Below are fees that will be dedcuted:

1. Platform Fee

Section titled “1. Platform Fee”

The platform fee is whichever is higher:

  • 0.25% or 0.0025 (minimum fee)

2. Ethereum Gas Fee

Section titled “2. Ethereum Gas Fee”
  • Calculated dynamically
  • Based on current network conditions

3. Current Gas Price

Section titled “3. Current Gas Price”

Displayed in green text (example: 0.142 Gwei). The TOTAL FEE section shows the estimated total fee in the receive token.

3. Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

  • A MetaMask (or compatible EVM) wallet
  • Tokens available to swap
  • ETH in your wallet for gas fees
  • Access to the VoidAI Swap platform

4. Wallet Setup

  1. Install MetaMask if you don’t already have it.
  2. Connect to the correct network:
    • Ethereum Mainnet (Production)
    • Ethereum Sepolia (Staging/Testnet)

Ensure your wallet has:

  • The tokens you want to swap
  • Enough ETH for transaction fees

5. How to Swap Tokens

Step 1 – Open the Swap Page

  • Navigate to the VoidAI platform.
  • Go to the Swap page.

Step 2 – Connect Your Wallet

  1. Click Connect Wallet (top right).
  2. Select MetaMask.
  3. Approve the connection.

Once connected:

  • The button changes to WALLET CONNECTED
  • Your token balances become visible

Step 3 – Select Tokens

You will see two sections:

  • YOU PAY
  • YOU RECEIVE

Select the Token You Want to Pay

  1. Click the token dropdown under YOU PAY.
  2. Choose a regular token (for regular swaps)
    or
    Choose a staked token (for staked swaps).

Select the Token You Want to Receive

  1. Click the token dropdown under YOU RECEIVE.
  2. Choose a token from the same category as above. Remember: categories must match.

Step 4 – Enter the Swap Amount

  1. Click the YOU PAY field.
  2. Enter the amount you want to swap
    or
  3. Click MAX to use your full balance.

As you type:

  • The YOU RECEIVE amount updates automatically.
  • The TOTAL FEE section updates dynamically.

Example: ~ 0.00 TAO

Optional – Reverse the Swap Direction

You can reverse the swap pair by clicking the circular ↕ icon between the two sections.

When reversed:

  • The token in YOU PAY moves to YOU RECEIVE.
  • Amounts and fees automatically recalculate.

Step 5 – Execute the Swap

  1. Review:
    • Tokens selected
    • Amount entered
    • Fees displayed
  2. Click SWAP.
  3. Your MetaMask wallet will open.
  4. Review transaction details.
  5. Click Confirm.
  6. Wait for blockchain confirmation.

6. Transaction Confirmation

Section titled “6. Transaction Confirmation”

Once the swap is successful, you’ll see a confirmation screen showing:

  • Transaction status (TRANSACTION COMPLETE)
  • Network (MAINNET or STAGING)
  • YOU PAY amount
  • YOU RECEIVE amount
  • Fee charged

You can then:

  • Click RETURN TO HOME to start another swap
  • Click RECENT TRANSACTIONS to view history

7. Viewing Recent Transactions

Click RECENT TRANSACTIONS from:

  • The Swap page
    or
  • The confirmation screen

Features include:

  • Switch between TOKEN and STAKED TOKENS
  • Time filters:
    • 1H
    • 1D
    • 1M
    • 1Y
    • ALL
  • Search by transaction hash
  • Filter by:
    • From Token
    • To Token

8. Security & Best Practices

Token Category Rules

Section titled “Token Category Rules”
  • Regular ↔ Regular only
  • Staked ↔ Staked only

Amount Validations

Section titled “Amount Validations”
  • Negative values are rejected.
  • Non-numeric values are rejected.
  • Amount cannot exceed available balance.
  • The SWAP button stays disabled until:
    • Valid tokens are selected
    • Valid amount is entered

Minimum Amounts (Staked Tokens)

Section titled “Minimum Amounts (Staked Tokens)”
  • TAO: Minimum 0.05
  • Alpha tokens: Minimum 2

9. Troubleshooting Quick Hits

SWAP Button Disabled

Section titled “SWAP Button Disabled”
  • Ensure both tokens are selected.
  • Enter a valid amount.
  • Confirm sufficient balance.

Insufficient Balance

Section titled “Insufficient Balance”
  • Ensure enough tokens.
  • Ensure enough ETH for gas fees.

Same Token Selected

Section titled “Same Token Selected”
  • Choose a different token in the opposite field.

Below Minimum Amount

Section titled “Below Minimum Amount”
  • Enter at least:
    • 0.05 for TAO
    • 2 for Alpha tokens

Transaction Pending or Stuck

Section titled “Transaction Pending or Stuck”
  • Wait for network confirmation.
  • Check status via blockchain explorer.

Wallet Connection Failed

Section titled “Wallet Connection Failed”
  • Refresh the page.
  • Reconnect your wallet.

Gas Fees Too High

Section titled “Gas Fees Too High”
  • Wait for lower network congestion.
  • Try again during off-peak hours.
